It was in Nov, 2011 that I germinated an idea of painting a set of Christmas series of illustrations to make cards for my friends. I like the movie The Polar Express very much since I was young and I have watched it several times in which the words “Belief makes the world more beautiful.” impressed me deeply. Based on this movie and some other Christmas-related novels I have read, I thought a lot and made final decisions. Then this set of six illustrations “ Christmas trees, mistletoes, deers, Christmas socks, Santa Claus, and lovers” was created.
